they need to teach about the patrick swayze tweet in colleges around the world. This thing is a true work of art, and arguably what twitter was all about
i burned out on the series around book 3 initially, but gave them another shot again last year — i know a lot of people didn’t really like Heaven’s River but i found it refreshing and weirdly relaxing to read. that said, i think if i’d been listening instead of reading, i’d have bounced off it

been listening to the latest bobiverse book in audio format for the first time — as much as i enjoy the world, i'm finding the everyone-is-the-same-characteritis this book suffers from (both bob clones *and* supposedly original characters) way more grating in audio than it is written
you know who should be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame? Sisyphus
i have a bambu A1 with the AMS lite - it's phenomenal. i don't do a ton of multicolor printing because of the waste, but when you *do* need to, the AMS is a lifesaver. it's also nice to just be able to have four colors mounted and ready to go at all times!
extremely cool stuff. i'd love to get something that can play with higher temp materials.
that'd be the dream
deeply bummed i missed this
fun! which printers do you have? i've heard some of them require a lot more tinkering time
type twelve forehead reconstruction going on there
absolutely wild stuff. i'm so tired of renting...
what am i missing
i don't understand you 'deeners'
fake screenshot from a civilization pc game with donald trump as the leader, and a dialogue box with a verbatim quote of one of his posts on truth social. it says "The Great State of Canada is stunned as the Finance Minister resigns, or was fired, from her position by Governor Justin Trudeau. Her behavior was totally toxic, and not at all conducive to making deals which are good for the very unhappy citizens of Canada. She will not be missed!!!" followed by a game box saying "I can engage in this war without sacrificing morals. Don't ask me how; you wouldn't understand. (Declares a Formal War against you)"
civ 7 looks amazing so far
It's from 30 Rock. Liz Lemon says "What a week, huh?" and Jack sys "Lemon, it's Monday"

thanks! my favourite thing is how much it's changed the way i look at little problems in my apartment - "oh i can solve this"
small rebellions...
we can (and have) been kicking the boards back into place for years, but the gaps are always visible somewhere and this was a fun solve without needing glue. more importantly, it was an excuse to get better at CAD software and use up the copper filament i bought for a tricorder halloween print

the floor of an apartment with two copper blocks filling in the gaps in laminate slats
a 3d printed copper block sitting on the floor beside the gap it's designed to fill
my favourite little 3D print project so far is designing these kintsugi-inspired blocks to fill in the ridiculously big gaps in our rental apartment floor
