Big fan of a positive energy undead from ye olde 3.5 dnd days. Essentially good folk who choose to remain behind instead of going to some heaven awaiting them to serve churches, causes, and beings who bring good to the world. Less like rotting undead and more holy soul in consecrated remains.

Happy to be running Draw Steel, Daggerheart, and soon Legends of the Mist professionally. I love a job where I get to revel in non DnD 5e games and make a great community.

if you run with me and my players for a full campaign, let alone a month, and you aren't inspired to create, I'll expect no artwork from you and we can part ways. But if anyone has some free time available in one of the games offered in my profile, or interest in trying a ttrpg, feel free to dm.

My goal is to make it affordable for another starving artist to enjoy my performances, give my community a fun, tolerant member who may be able to do a commission for someone or help them with their own art, and help me keep my business AI images free.

My goal here is not to rip anyone off or exploit- more the opposite. And we're not signing a contract or hashing out terms- if at the end of the campaign you block me and bail that would suck, but I'll take that risk.

The final image can be the quickest, lightest pencil sketch you can do, or an image collage from magazines, or anything that the other players will look at fondly for years and remember the good times they had with you and your character. I'd even love a poem, essay, or song.

I run long-form campaigns, having finished one at 9 months and another at nearly 2 years. Cyberpunk, Daggerheart. Candela Obscura, and World of Darkness are my offerings currently. All campaigns are custom written by me- no modules, no cookie cutter.

If the game ends early, you play for free. if you don't gel with the group, you play for free. if your schedule changes, you play for free. If we get to the end of the campaign and youre busy with paid work, take as much time as you need. Any system I offer, which is pretty much anything but DnD 5e.

Maybe this offer is more polite and will get more of the type of attention (not bots haha). Im a pro GM, hoping to bring artists into my community and hopefully get them opportunities with my clients. I generally charge, but for an artist willing to do 1 piece of art at the end of the campaign.

I dont hate them. I don't think I possess the capacity for hate that seems so common today. But I cried all the way home, and I might at least look for a Cupboard where so many personal feelings and memories are involved. I might just eat less.

I hope if I don't survive, maybe they remember Christ's words and find enough love in his message that they reconsider supporting these monsters ever again, that they use God's name to hurt his children, manipulate his followers, and enrich themselves. I pray for change, even if Im not thete.

When deaths of despair increase, when their cupboard starts seeing more new faces and the very help they give is reduced by the American Fascist Party, I hope these people can confront, that, atleast in my opinion, they voted for the exact opposite of Christ's message, and now millions suffer.

Their eyes turned off. They wouldn't meet my eye. They said it all comes out in the wash, and that they hadn't heard the bill would do that. That everything would work out.

They were kind, helpful, and generous, and when I said with a trembling voice I'd be coming more often because Im likely going to lose my Healthcare, snap, and maybe my business.

Went to my local food cupboard. I had a snake in the pit of my stomach because I know how these people voted, but with negative money and bills I knew I had to. 🧵

Blades in the Dark. The game runs on gambits and shenanigans, high risk, high reward.

Wait till you use Fear to do an environmental attack, or to summon more baddies. They might accuse you of cheating.

But it was a bit bruising to be told by two artists that my own art, storytelling, didn't measure up to their work in anyway. Might have been sore or sour feelings after politics made me cancel a project I was commissioning for, but imo struggling artists should stick together, regardless of medium.

Totally realize that art is work and should be compensated. Totally agree that there is no compulsion to trade your art for anything. Totally know that money does work for all of us that can't be replaced with a good story. No argument.

Im sorry to all the amazing artists who I've talked to and seen the work of today. With the passage of the Bill, I will likely lose my business, healthcare, car, independence, or some combination, and therefore I cannot afford commissions for the foreseeable future. I am sorry for wasting your time.

Im sorry to all involved, but the big beautiful bill passed and Im probably going to lose my business if I want to keep 100% necessary healthcare. Im sorry to get people's hopes up, and I wish you all the best luck in your business. I still intend to check out all your work in case things get better

What I'd like to know is if there are any artists open to trading a free seat in one or more games for art for my players, my npcs, and my games. I don't mean to insult anyone, and I know you can't eat a TTRPG game, but consider this an attempt to trade art for art at a fair rate.
