Make sure you're doc everything for the country to see. Make sure it's posted online so that no one can say that protesters are violent. Fight by disputing the admin. lies by providing video proof. Its why people are showing up to protests in silly costumes. No one can look at that and see violence.

My experience with people around me is they want to stay in denial. People don't want to believe they're not in control of whether or not they become ill or disabled.
