Made some new stickers for students today. Mardi Gras and Olympics. #schoollibrarian

February displays include #blackhistorymonth which I learned it is the 100th anniversary! And for the first half of the month at least I’ll keep up my Valentine’s Day romance display. #schoollibrarian

January displays include my annual favorite reads (mostly my YA choices since they’ll be in the library) & I included pictures of the covers of books we don’t have yet. Also a Stranger Things display. Although I wish I’d made the letters bigger.

Haven’t updated on my This or That display in awhile. This week is between in store shopping and online shopping. The week before thanksgiving the vote was between fave side dishes-Mac & cheese vs. sweet potatoes, Mac & cheese won.

First display of the year.

Got my set of books from @glsen.bsky.social for my library today. End of the school year means students won’t get to check out till August, but so glad to have them!!

End of the year displays in my library. Up for a couple weeks then down for the summer. Only 4 and a half more days with students and teachers, then 5 more in the library for me. No summer school for me this year.

April’s display came down today. National poetry month with posters for our teachers’ favorite poems!!

Missed a couple months worth of displays! March was Black History Month and green books to be pinch proof!!

I keep trying to leave a comment on the website, but it says both of my email addresses are already registered. And when I say forgot password, I never get an email to reset it. :-(. But this is one that I know will be perfect for my school library!

First night of spring break trip to New Orleans with my mom. Saw a wedding parade and got some flowers they threw. First meal at Pat O’Briens and had a hurricane to drink!

I got in on a Kickstarter last year. It’s not cheap. But it’s pretty cool! It’s called the Liene Pixcut

Forgot to share my December displays with how crazy that month always is. But here’s my first one of January. Got the idea from searching library images online as well as some cool letters and graphics found on Etsy. Easy to just pull blue cover books. #schoollibrarydisplay #schoollibrarian

Thanks! Since I don’t get to do as many activities with students at the high school level, the displays are my way to be creative. I’ll check out your podcast.

I also did a quick No-vember display. After some stressful times for me, thought it was good for students to think about self care too.

So behind on showing displays from this year. My latest was for Native American Heritage Month.
