Called Saka and Timber though

Yeah, Gyokeres to start I reckon. Could see some minutes for Jesus too
* just seen that Saliba is out which reduces the risk of a Timber benching I think
My sense is not. Heβs played a hell of a lot of minutes recently and I suspect theyβll want him starting on Saturday. Could see quite a bit of rotation in general. Imagine Big Vik and Odegaard start. Would be slightly worried about Saka and Timber from an FPL POV

How old is your son? I was the same for a good few months after our daughter was born but once she became a little more robust it passed
Have been wondering why theyβre so bad myself. Assuming something contractual with individual sponsors stops a Nike or adidas from kitting out a whole team. Even so it canβt be beyond the whit of man to find a polo shirt thatβs collar isnβt flaring on the first tee. Complete omnishambles every time
In total agreement with this. One of the houses should have a longer cycle though,10 years say, so they can consider the long term needs of the country rather than simply trying to get re-elected. There was a time when there was a strong overlap on these, sadly not so much these days.
Opening times can be a bit tricky to predict though!
Genuinely difficult to think of a better way to spend a fiver in London.
Potentially slightly left field but Mediterranean Cafe on Blackstock Road does 10/10 merguez baguettes for Β£5 and Dilara (also Blackstock) has some of the best Uyghur food London. Astounded no one has mentioned Dotori. Brunch at FKABAM is probably the ultimate pre match feed.
Strong suggestion to abort while you still have some evening left.
Is this something we are auto-entered into? Canβt see it in my general leagues?
Assuming Eze wouldnβt count as a βspecialistβ LW?
Can finally listen in the car! Cheers Ross, hope youβre having a good summer
Ramsdale perhaps.
Really great piece, mate. Thank you. Forced me into an extended lunch break too!
Had been wondering this myself.
Would also recommend reading @billycarpy.bsky.socialβs intensely deep dive on wingers if you havenβt already. Cracking (and substantial) read plus the Madueke section made me feel a lot better. Until I got to the injury record at PSV π«£
100%. If it gets done at Β£40m and your attacking recruitment is Gyokeres/Madueke/Eze Iβm into it. If itβs Β£55m and your summer attacking business is Gyokeres and Madueke I am super not into it. Will be impossible to judge this one (assuming it happens) until 1st September.
Recently listened to the LOTR trilogy narrated by Andy Serkis.
I do take your point about not needing to make an immediate and firm decision on a player so young but I do also think you need to have a decent idea of where you see most of his minutes coming as it will surely inform transfer strategy.

Agreed. Thought heβd end up at Liverpool when it looked like Salah would be leaving.
100% agree. If the choice was stay at Brentford or move to Utd though, my suspicion is heβd go.
All that said with both players 26 at the start of next season youβd think theyβd opt for a CL club if the option was there.
Money would be vastly improved but there is surely massive draw to a club the size of Utd? Also, I think as fans we often under appreciate the self belief of players/managers. You donβt get to the top without it. They will think they are the guy to change the clubs fortunes and restore the glory.
Huge if true
