Well, what more is there to say than... jup? ๐
Oh yes! I know this problem ๐
It looks great! I recently started again with my knitting projects. I hope they will turn out as good as yours. :)
Chikungunya virus is now spreading locally in Europe!
The first indigenous case has been reported in Ile-de-France, and La Rรฉunion Island is nearing an epidemic stage, with 138 cases recorded.

Amazing!! ๐
Happy holidays! Is this Chichรฉn-Itzรก? ๐
Merry Christmas! ๐
Happy Holidays! This year I made a small gingerbread village. ๐ช๐๏ธ๐

Rapunzel: 21m of magical hair? Traction alopecia, constant headaches, and permanent hair loss. Her fairytale is a nightmare for her scalp. ๐จ
Aurora (Sleeping Beauty): Oversleeping brings cardiovascular risks, obesity, and muscle atrophy. Also, pressure ulcers are a real hazard. Good thing Prince Philip showed up before long-term bedrest complications set in (though, yโknow, consent).
Pocahontas: That iconic cliff dive? A breathtaking nine-second freefall from an estimated height of 252m (thanks, physics simulations). Beyond the obvious physical risks, such a leap might hint at deeper mental health struggles that deserve serious attention.
Cinderella: Dust exposure = occupational lung disease (OLD). Plus, magical glitter = microplastic inhalation. Forget a princeโCinderella needs respiratory therapy STAT. ๐งนโจ๐ซ
Jasmine (Aladdin): Loneliness, no real friends (sorry, Genie), and a tiger as a pet. Risks include depression, zoonotic infections, spinal injuries, & actual tiger attacks.
So what are the health risks they face you wonder? ๐ค
Snow White: Isolated, poisoned, & in a coma. Lack of social interaction increases the risk of cardiovascular disease & anxiety. And that poisoned apple? Letโs just say it proves โan apple a day keeps the doctor awayโ has its limits. ๐โ
Thanks to Dijk et al. we now have a scientific backup when we discuss our favorite Disney princes (mine is by the way Belle).
Academics reading bedtime stories: oh let me write a paper about discussing health risks faced by Disney princesses!
Breaking news: A 2020 paper that sparked widespread enthusiasm for hydroxychloroquine as a #COVID19 treatment has been retracted, following campaigning by scientists who alleged the research contained major scientific flaws and may have breached ethics regulations. scim.ag/4iR9bQ6

This decision was made by the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies. Does somebody know how the status of these journals is handled in other countries?
If you are wondering which journals are downgraded, here is the complete list:

So this is happening. 271 MDPI and Frontiers journals will be downgraded to level 0. Makes you wonder what we consider as reliable and properly peer review journals.

Thanks! This post was quite misleading...
Hahahahaha! You made my day. lol

Is it normal to get so deep into your research that you start dreaming about talking molecules trying to find their home (aka proteins)? Or is it just me? ๐ ๐ญ
