Amberspire's incredible music is from @mode7games.bsky.social who captured the overall tone of the visuals and writing beautifully. Can't wait for everyone to hear more than just a snippet!
Very cool to see my soundtrack come together with everyone else's work in these recent teasers.
This game has The Vibes in abundance and Nic's thoughtful design is going to be of interest to many of you games people so please give it a look!
May the 4th (+2) weโll be with you

Oh my god I hate admin
System Shock mod where every Shodan voice line is replaced by a Flowdan bar
Heh yeah this looks rad
Overheard in a book shop: "Wuthering Heights? No way that's an actual book."
I have had my work passed off as someone else's or used without permission many times before - it is never simple.
At certain times, the repetitious campaigning and grandstanding is mega helpful and at other times it is counterproductive.
Trying to collapse every conversation about Marathon into a ritualistic performance of who can shout "Bungie stole art" the loudest does more harm than good to artists in general.
If it's so nuanced that you need to speculate on the exact content of a legal settlement doesn't it then deserve its own context? Doesn't this become unworkable for you if you miss any comment anyone makes about the game for the rest of time?
Not every single context needs to be collapsed into a litany of grievances? I thought the artist in question made a statement saying the issue was resolved to their satisfaction.
๐ ON THIS DAY in 2006 โข 20 years ago! ๐ฎ @8bitpeoples.bsky.social releases Information Chase, 6 mp3s of chiptune powerpop. It's since come out on CD & vinyl, & I've performed its songs to audiences who have loudly sung along, despite there being no words. What could be more heartwarming than that? ๐
Final day! Final pitch to those on the fence: We've successfully delivered 6 KS projects previously. ABIDE is fresh, for horror and for games. It is mature and well researched. It is brutal. Stop motion but also a proper game. We aim to be generous and to entertain with our games.
It's important to audit everything the second it's mentioned in any context
Impossible
Nah I'm old
Marathon is stunningly cool but I just want it to be a single player shooter because I'm old
Trying to replace game journalists with AI is one of the single most stupid uses of the technology I've seen and that is a hotly contested category.
The entire point of written games journalism is the expression of a subjective human perspective: that is the value; that is the purpose.
I released my first commercial game at age 30. This is a lame take.
Genuinely completely forgot this existed - really strange sensation seeing that image!
hell yeah
Ah ok - interesting

Hmm have they done the classic "we consulted everyone" without actually talking to any indies again? That's rapidly becoming one of my biggest annoyances for this kind of thing
