The bigger issue is why do a certain demographic of Americans vote for fascism? The issue is not their ability to vote but who they vote for and why.
At this point I do believe there will be free and fair elections because so far there continue to be. In 2025 Dems won in Governor races, state legislatures, cities (NYC). All free and fair, under a Trump regime. States still own the power of their elections. This hasn't changed.
