I find the new "Combating AI in interviews" discourse hilarious. Those of us actually conducting complex technical interviews have been dealing with this for years. If your highest or only bar is leet code, maybe you need some introspection and/or interview training.
No one will ever convince me flashbacks are necessary in books. I complete every flashback chapter upset that the author didn't think I was smart enough to get the back story already.
Yeah, that's wise. We spent a ton of time chatting about rsi in a variety of contexts for last epoch. It really adds up over time and seems so unnecessary to click everything nowadays.
Welcome!
I write (non-compute) shaders twice a year tops and love having to look up literally everything for every single shader. At least this time it's a new shading language (wgsl). I will say WGSL is neat, at first blush.
Getting slightly better at blocking the AI grifting on search engines, but not sure how to block it on youtube. I saw this video by Benn Jordan www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVXf... and now I can't stop noticing all of the low quality ambient AI bullshit "music" all over youtube.
Working on a game with no players is so relaxing lmao
live in about 10 hours from now - subscribe/mark your calendars/tell your friends/share etc. c:

Watching Kyrie live is wild. Mavs without Luka is depressing but what a game by Kyrie.
Once you own a home your youtube algorithm is 99% DIY -- not because you're handy -- but because you had to watch things like "how to fix an uneven garage door" repeatedly while attempting to fix it.
All my love to the poor GGG devs dealing with launch day.
The moderation tools here are so good. I now find myself wishing I had them everywhere else. They took one big step directly opposed to the enshittification of the internet and I'm here for it.
Finally found some free time to try @bevyengine.org for the first time in years and it's been so much fun. Yes, loads of cool features but more importantly it is reaching that critical mass of usage where there is enough content to feel like a real user community. Devs on bevy have done great work
Christmas comes early! My favorite sports writer has begun posting again! @zachlowenba.bsky.social
