I'm doing pretty well. After 3 months of treatment I'm like 70% back to normal. There's just going to be some things I can't do anymore and figuring out what those things are is kind of trail and error

I'm at the point of treatment now where I kind of forget I'm physically disabled and get down on the floor to do something and realise too late that I can't get back up.
I've been stuck sitting on the floor 3 times now...

It was hard work and my fingers ached afterwards but I avoided having to ask for a fork

Sometimes I surprise myself and do something kind of smart. Like designing this little jig today to make getting my #fursuit eye shines lined up more accurately.

Today I got the all clear from the optometrist to start a malaria drug (alongside the chemo drug I'm already on) because this one's major side effect is it could destroy my eyes and kill me.

Sometimes I think I'm pretty good with technology. Then there's time like today when I update my 3D printer software and now I can't figure out how to reconnect to the damn thing

After 18 years together and fighting so hard for the last 5 weeks of illness Wijit let me know she was tired and done fighting on Monday.

Ayy, this week's phlebotomist found the vein in my arm on the first try! No bruised hand for a week this time.

I've found an unopened box of casting foam that I have no use for now that I've moved onto printing TPU bases so I may have some foam feline and canine bases available next week

After being neglected and losing a few plants when I was couchbound some of my #nepenthes are springing back to life and producing some nice pitchers now they're getting regular care again

TMC Update Firstly If like to apologise for the silence on TMC's social media this year. Since April I've been having some serious health issues. For months I was struggling to walk, raise my arms and use my hands which greatly impacted my ability to work on commissions. Earlier this month I received my diagnosis of an autoimmune disease that's attacking my joints. I've since started on medications that will allow me to finish all the current commissions in my queue. Beyond that the future of TMC is uncertain as my condition is incurable and progressive but it should be manageable. I hope to be able to continue making suits for years to come. -Kelz

Whelp, here goes my first full dose of chemo drugs to try and stop my screwed up immune system from destroying my joints

Two doses of prednisone down and not only could I walk up the 8 steps at our front door normally today but I managed to hold a knife to chop an onion and cook dinner without having to take a break since June!
I'm still very stiff and sore but I'm starting to be able to function again!

Well it's official. My immune system sucks and I have rheumatoid disease

I'm on a crazy high dose of steroids for a few weeks to get things under control. Then next wee I start on the chemo drug to suppress my immune system so it hopefully stops trying to destroy my joints
