I’ve been catching up on Skyjacks: Courier’s Call and I have to say once more that it is a work of genius that @arneparrott.bsky.social can make such a wholesome song into a complete banger.

This is their first time seeing me, but my thousandth time seeing them. I have farmed every single variant of them for their Gems and their tails - I have killed them while drunk, while on drugs, with no sleep, while texting in between attacks, and with every weapon the monster hunter universe has

I feel so bad for the Rathalos in every new Monster Hunter iteration. In their universe, they are among the biggest and baddest predators in the land, so how could they comprehend that in the loneliest and horniest times of my life I hunted them mercilessly with my roommate on my PSP?

After Pulitzer and Hearst realize they can't possibly stop the boys from bopping their scabs on the regular, they decide to bribe the two guys running the strike with big money and get them to end it. The two of them sell out instantly, and walk into the next union meeting in BRAND NEW SUITS

After they strike, Pulitzer and Hearst hire a bunch of scabs, so the news boys... Beat the shit out of them and tear up their papers. Then they see actual Hearst trying to buy a paper from a scab and they chase both of them through the streets screaming at them.

Been reading about the Newsboy strike of 1899 and it's kind of crazy how these kids basically one upped Pulitzer and Hearst by being willing to be violent

They tell the newsboys that the strike is over, and the newsboys (say it with me) beat the shit out of them and run them out of town! One of them gets himself arrested so that he can be nice and safe in jail! Pulitzer and Hearst throw in the towel almost immediately after.

Just starting Severance and I will say I think the biggest failure in the discourse about this show is that I had no idea it was going to be SO FUNNY.
