I'm sure I could find some producers to collab with on some ff6 lo-fi! When things settle down here a bit I'll float the idea

A friend of mine suggested that I try uploading music with just a static image. He then linked me to an example he listens to while he works, and it was a three hour AI guitar thing. He doesn't care if the music is made by a human, but that is what musicians are competing with now.

I'll look around and see if I can find a dealer that has one in stock to try!

I had to return the cello that I was borrowing, so I'm going to have to look for a new one. I'm interested in a 6 string cello, tuned BEADGC probably. Carbon fiber seems like it would be interesting.

Fun (?) Fact!

The "no tax on tips" thing in the US doesn't actually apply to self-employed musicians. We still have to report all our tips as income and pay tax on them because we have no employer to report the tips to that creates the deduction.

I just can't move it because I don't have the cites certificate and pythons are endangered so to use them in the construction of an erhu you have to prove they're farmed.

It's the python skin on the sound box. Mine was farmed, but lost the cites certificate so I can't move with it.

Did you know the maximum fine for being caught moving an erhu (that was accidentally separated from its CITES certificate) across an international border is US$400,000?

I'm going to need a new erhu soon.

This October over 150k new people heard my music for the first time when my original collaboration was added to a huge Halloween playlist. The number will probably go up for the *actual* Halloween night parties, but I'm feeling incredibly thankful for all of the collaborations that led up to this.

@insaneintherainmusic.com invited me to play erhu on one of the tracks for his Battle Suit Aces soundtrack, and I think it turned out great!

Here are two of the four, the other ones are tucked behind these in their own sleeves inside the bigger plastic case, quality looks like it could get a high grade to me, but I don't know what I'm doing.

I saw a sale on the mox diamond graded at $2k, so for those it might be worth it. I don't know though 😂

Yeah that one seems off, but some of the other high value cards seem right. I was just trying to figure out which box to put things in and what to sleeve on my first pass through 😂

After about 4 hours of scanning cards, here are the top value ones I have! I have a few more to scan, but I don't think there are many more at that level. I paid about $40 for those mox diamonds when the set was new.

I don't have any complete sets, but some of the individual cards popped up as $600+ in the tcgplayer scanning app.
