Raises topics of asexuality, feminism, queerness, friendship, family values, empathy, love, death and of course... war in Ukraine through the perspective of two Ukrainian 14 y.o. girls. It is also heavily connected to the Ukrainian and Slavic culture and mythology.
It blends my and my sister characters, some of them you've already seen here on my blog, like these two beans:
Despite this book being written in the magic realism genre it contains a lot of my and my sister's experience during this war, something we saw with our own eyes, some events we took part in. At first it felt like a need to speak about it with the world and then it turned into a story.
