False Spring has arrived in Colorado!
At Drupalcamp Florida I’m showing how to install, configure, and manage #Drupal AI in real projects. I'll share practical steps editors and teams can take today - and you'll build a thing! buff.ly/pSZ1oRt (and if you haven't heard - ask me for a monkey skull)
You don’t need to write LLM prompts in code to get results. I’ll walk through practical use cases of #Drupal AI, from summarisation to semantic search, that anyone on a project team can implement. buff.ly/pSZ1oRt (monkey skull? Yes please! Just ask.)
AI isn’t a magic wand. It’s a workflow tool. My Drupalcamp FL session shows what AI can do well in #Drupal, what it shouldn’t be asked to do, and how to make it add value without fragile hacks. buff.ly/pSZ1oRt (want a tiny monkey skull? Just ask!)
Interested in speaking at a #Drupal event? Drupalcamp Colorado will be taking place Aug 26-28th this year in FABULOUS Denver! buff.ly/crO3WgG
Submit a session TODAY for the longest continually running Drupalcamp! This summer will be our 19th year! buff.ly/i42Wn8U
Stop waiting for developers to “plug in AI.” Learn how editors and site builders can configure #Drupal AI natively. Practical, zero-code strategies that improve search, recommendations and content quality. buff.ly/pSZ1oRt (and ask me for a monkey skull).
#Drupal AI isn’t a fad. It works. At Drupalcamp Florida I break down how to use DrupalAI to build smarter sites with zero code. We'll build an automator together! www.fldrupal.camp/session/gett... Also, ask me for a monkey skull. ;)
19 ago, I created my account on Drupal.org. #Drupal has been a constant through my career, my volunteer work, and my life. It’s given me community, friendship, and a way to support my family for 20 years. I wrote a personal reflection on what that means to me, and why I’m still here. buff.ly/TwedejE
I've been wanting to get into 3D printing. My wife bought me a Bambu A1 printer. I took a video of the first printing. A little boat called "Benchy" used for identifying issues with prints before you do something more serious.
I'm doing some cleanup on my computer and came across this gem from 2014 that isn't posted anywhere else. The reasons for nonprofits to use #Drupal have not changed... but boy, I've lost hair and gone grey since this presentation! Take a peek - the message is still valid today.

The EMERGENCY #Christmas Tree! A sewer backup in our basement threatened to GRINCH our season. But I refused to accept that! BEHOLD! Even Cindy Lou Who would approve!

As many of you know, I'm an avid #scuba diver. On December 6th, I took a dip in the Denver Downtown Aquarium Shark tank. It was about a 45 minute dive, but I squished it into less than 4 minutes for your viewing pleasure.

I finished reading this ridiculously campy and fun book last night. It comes, loosely, formatted like an IKEA catalog and recalls a night shift for 5 VERY different employees of ORSK (an IKEA knockoff big box) who encounter extreme paranormal activity.
A few weeks ago, I was flattered to have been invited to speak at a Webinar with the American Society of NeuroRadiologists on the topic of neurodiversity and Universal design. My part of the Webinar was about 10 minutes long - you can catch it here:
Thinking about a #Drupal Scuba meetup before DrupalCamp Florida. I’ve opened an issue proposing a 2-tank dive on Feb 19, 2026 at a spring near Orlando or Jupiter/West Palm Beach. If you’re a Drupal diver or want to join the community underwater, take a look and share your thoughts:
What are you going to be doing in about 10 weeks? I'll be talking about AI in Orlando - www.jamesmatthewsaunders.ai/items/gettin... - at Drupalcamp Florida. If you're interested in attending a mini-workshop where you'll leave with a working #Drupal AI tool THAT YOU BUILT, this is a session for you.
So excited to share that I'll be speaking at Drupalcon Chi on neuro-inclusivity. The 1st in this series was my journey. The 2nd - how neurodiverse & neurotypical people can work together. The 3rd, about the economic imperative for business. This next one? How can business can do it.
Tomorrow in Providence: install DrupalAI, build editorial workflows, and take home a ~40-page manual you can use at work. If you want practical AI in Drupal, this is for you. buff.ly/3rjbUoK
Last-minute questions about fit, prerequisites, or laptops? Short answer: bring a laptop and curiosity. No coding required. See the session page: buff.ly/3rjbUoK
