it gets old beating up media framing, but I HATE "Trump's big gamble!" framing. Especially when everything listed after "gamble" is objectively horrible! In any other context we'd call this "the dumbest gamble" or simply eschew the gambling analogy and cast it as reckless and irresponsible.
I love this record. Took it out on a quiet dog walk today to soak it in. Beautiful, intricate playing.
