When a fly lands on your arm, how does your nervous system decide where to swat?
By reconstructing tactile axons in a Drosophila connectome, we found a leg somatotopic map and downstream circuits that sample the map to initiate targeted grooming

this looks like it hasn't been maintained in a while, but maybe the timing matches what you're seeing compared to RSpectra? github.com/u1234x1234/p...
scikit-learn.org/stable/modul... this is also often quite fast, but you definitely found the go-to (sparse.linalg.svds). How much worse is it? I remember seeing a stackoverflow or github thread on this but I'm struggling to dig it up again
Great to see the MICrONS data out, congratulations to the huge team who created this amazing data!
If you have a scientific question about the data, there are resources available (including annotation and proofreading work) to help you! Submit a request to VORTEX: www.microns-explorer.org/vortex
The mind is like a symphony - it works better when the activity is synchronized. Growing evidence suggests that inhibitory neurons work together to "gain control."
