Spent the last decade reading conservative blogs use the word "Orwellian" more than they used the word "the" and now they're literally just saying "War is Peace" out loud in front of everybody.

Writing is also a practice in empathy, because you will never really understand your characters until you start to feel for them, even the worst ones.
Nothing makes me sadder than writing villains because I know the tragedy that led them here, and that they will fail to address that tragedy.
History must be getting frustrated with how often she has to repeat herself
"I became a hater by doing precisely those things AI cannot do: reading and understanding human language; thinking and reasoning about ideas; considering the meaning of my words and their context; loving people, making art, living in my body with its flaws and feelings and life. AI cannot be a hater, because AI does not feel, or know, or care. Only humans can be haters. I celebrate my humanity."

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, as we all know, turkey and swiss is the sandwich order of the elites
And YOU don't like the elites, do you?

You're a red-blooded American, aren't you?

You wouldn't want to be investigated for unpatriotic activities, would you?

I rest my case, your Honor

You can indict a ham sandwich but you cannot indict a meatball marinara sandwich.
This will be on the bar exam.

Patient, sobbing: But Doctor, I AM Pagliacci!
ChatGPT: Apologies. I didn't realise when recommending Pagliacci's epic show to cure your depression that you were the genius himself. I'm impressed! With regards to your initial question, I can recommend seeing the Great Clown Pagliacci.
Reminds me of what your mom said last night
PAs are the backbone of the entertainment industry. Workers being regularly subjected to 12-16 hour shifts at minimum wage with no healthcare is an unacceptable status-quo for any industry. WGSU is proud to stand in solidarity with Production Assistants United in their fight for unionization!

Makhmalbaf created a story about the transcendence of tragedy, how a class of impoverished refugees were made to learn and grieve for people a world away.
Gitai made a film that asks, "so what if this happened to you? Why aren't we talking about Israel instead? We are more important"
As the film goes on, she gets increasingly frustrated that her television network isn't broadcasting her camera feed. The director, back at the station, tells her "something very serious happened in New York" but she counters that Israel faces these attacks every day.
An IDF soldier tries to clear the street, while a journalist harasses those present, trying to get the scoop of her career, hoping that covering this attack will launch her career out of covering local news in Israel.
The 8th segment, Israel, was written and directed by Amos Gitai.
It centers on the aftermath of a fictional suicide bombing in Tel Aviv on the morning of 9/11/01.
Frustrated, she takes the children to a brick chimney and forces them to look up at in the sunlight to give them some shred of understanding of what happened, and they finally stand in a minute of silence.
They laugh, because they do not believe buildings can be so tall. They joke amongst themselves. Does Allah allow bad things to happen?
She tries to lead them in a moment of silence, but being children, they can't help but goof off, and giggle.
The 1st Segment, Iran, was written & directed by Samira Makhmalbaf.
It details the story of a teacher who visits a remote Afghan refugee camp in Iran, where children work to bake mud bricks in the sun.
She gives a lesson to the children about 9/11, which they do not understand.
11′09″01 September 11 is a 2002 anthology film made up of 11 segments by 11 filmmakers, each from a different country, in reaction to 9/11.

Sanitation workers are some of the most important people in the country, they should be paid more than the police
I should be asleep, but can’t stop thinking about a striking sanitation worker I met today. He told me about the time a trash bag full of human shit burst in his face, and he had to spend two days in the hospital to ensure he hadn’t contracted any dangerous diseases.
He makes $19 an hour.
