Funny enough, I feel the people who need the most tech help to install Linux would benefit the most from it. Like my parents. It would be robbery to charge them a monthly subscription when all they use is excel and emails.

Yeah there is a lot to unpack here. I do think Linux distros make on-boarding painless and will only improve. I barely touch the terminal. Both subscriptions and AI are things I don't want my OS to have so any other issues I might have are eclipsed by that. Also all games I like to play works great
The way I understand it is microsoft dumped a ton of money in AI technology and now need to justify those expenses to shareholders. Which is causing pushback by most folks. It feels like 12 is to force deeper embed AI and put everyone in reoccurring payments.
This is why I recommend Linux ASAP.

Yeah, I was surprised too. Been using flat colors for so long that I never thought to do a reverse process of adding gradients first

So I thought if I hatch my own dragon I can train him to steal for me" Panel 3: Flint is sitting on a green dragon surrounded by treasure and says, "All the gold would be mine!" Panel 4: The wizard leans forward against Flint and says "NOPE, NOPE, NOPE! I'm not about to deal with a raging mother. We are taking it back NOW" Flint disappointed says "Oh... okay..."
It's been a while since I worked on Tower of Kobolds comic. Lot of that due to graduating college. Updates might be sparse but I do have the next few pages figured out.
Really like how Flint's colors look like in this time around. Overall just happy how the comic works

Angry blue dragon facing left is snarling something. When zoomed in the pixels are in a pattern that gives the image depth.
Woke up angry but sketching a dragon help calm me down. I skipped the coloring and went straight to dithering which lead to some really interesting gradients.

I agree. I just graduated with a bachelor's degree and just got a Security+ certification. But haven't found a job just yet and I'm moving back with family until something turns up.
It's just sad leaving a place I liked for 1.5 years

I bounce between ideas and styles so it's hard to say if I will do it again. There isn't anything wrong with this style
I wouldn't worry about that. Most folks doing an art trade is because they like the artist's work. Else they would say no.
From the cashier point of view, a kobold behind the counter is trying to pay for a candy bar. His face shows a faint smile as if worn down by life. A quiet moment in the late hours.
Hard to put into words why I draw stuff. I want to say it's fun but there is a work mindset involved. Maybe it's more like meditation?
Either way, I like experimenting and seeing what works. Sometimes it doesn't. But I rather try and fail than never attempt it.
I'm just blown away by the amount of reactions my last animation received. Seriously, thank you all! I'm not that familiar with Aseprite, and could be frustrating to draw in. But in the end it was worth it.
Anyways, just wanted an excuse to reshare this little Crocodile!

I've been playing around with aseprite lately. Trying out different styles for lines and for the character. Also I just like this new wolf character I've recent made.
Be amazing if someone did that but they might need more buttons. The animation is only 3 frames so it wouldn't be hard to clip out/add more buttons
