Just got in an Uber and the driver told me "I have a fantastic day every day!" I joked "ha how you swing that?" and was then subjected to a 30 min lecture on how life is easy for everyone, choose to be happy, Trauma isn't real, gratitude, jesus, god etc. Moral of this story is TALK TO NO ONE.

I just met a couple who own a shop nearby and we ended up talking for an hour about life, corporate greed, + having to laugh at how hard life can be. Before i left they said "We don't usually spend this much time talking, but you dear, have a lot to offer." I needed to hear that + maybe you do too.🖤

What's something you called a food as a kid, and you still call it that as an adult even though you know that's not what it's called? I'll go first. I called grated Parmesan cheese "shake cheese" as a kid. I still call it that all the time.

Thank you I was having one of those moments where I felt like the only person on earth who understands this.

No matter how much I've talked about this and wrote about it in my books and songs, Its still crazy to me that it seems everyone has the most incredible support system....except for a few of us. That's such a basic human need and BIRTHRIGHT. To exclude anyone from it is unimaginable to me.

My friend just told me, "I have an incredible support system!" and I realized that is maybe my biggest goal in life. To me, that that's like saying you have $40 billion in the bank. I have no idea how that feels to say that, and feel that, and to know that, and I WANT IT.🙏
