You don't often see an extratropical low pressure system in south being connected almost continuously through cloud bands to subtropical jet cloudiness in the north but that's what @inorbitivan.bsky.social spotted in this Met-12 Cloud Type RGB this morning.

We currently distribute on EUMETCast the following GPM GMI data from NASA: GMI Level 1C Brightness Temperature & GMI Level 2 Precipitation product. NASA has recently announced that they will update these data from version V07 to version V08 on 4 March, see full details bit.ly/4716FSR
