Museums expect to be targeted, so they have ample security. Libraries are seldom filled with anything other than moth-eaten books and strung-out students. Temples have it all: artifacts, open doors, and an overreliance on the protection of derelict deities. No one thinks that criminals will have the gall to break into a temple and defile a sacred home of worship. The gods might have died two centuries ago, but there are still only a few lowlifes willing to incur the wrath of the Divine Six if they decided to reappear. I was one of those few.

The romance subplot starts at a unique point. The book begins after, “He fell first” but before, “She fell harder.” He is very open about his feelings for her from page 1. The geography and ecology of the world is inspired by Yosemite and The Sierras. The FMC constantly changes her appearance, inspired by my love of cosplay.

I've been writing again. I think the stormy weather makes me want to escape to far-off fantasy lands. I've been so inspired by BG3 and Dragon Age that I wanted to write about my Tav/Rook! Today, I felt like dressing up like the main character of the story I've been working on. #fantasycosplay
