Once you're within 20 metres from the treasure, you'll have to decipher the clues in the route guide, and start poking around till you find it.

Gone with this so far. Park up at Royden park, walk over to Landican via Arrowe Park. Back pretty much the way I came.

Wirral folk: I want to do a mothers day walk on Sunday on the wirral. Happy with distance, but want to avoid roads as much as possible. The route has to take in Landican, Thurstaston and Royden park. Looking on a map, it feels like there should be good footpaths between the three. Any suggestions?
