The largest citizen flotilla in history is sailing to Gaza with food and medicine. Israel has threatened to seize it - but together we can be their shield. Add your name to help watch over the flotilla and demand its safe passage! action.wemove.eu/sign/2025-09...
Alt-text: A comics page in black and white, addressing the concept that a country is an idea - and ours is built on among other things the concept of due process (which goes back to the Magna Carta). Images and text all snake across the page across a backdrop of humans imprisoned, and packed together, becoming a black mass in the lower right. Iβve written full description of the imagery with all the text on my site at the link (canβt put enough characters hereβ¦)
New comic: on the origins of Due Process, how fundamental it is to our very notion of freedom, and how we all must stand up for the rights for any one of us to preserve liberty for all of us. Alt-text, notes/process & printable version on my site, appreciate sharing spinweaveandcut.com/due-process/

UbuWeb Founded 1996 February 1, 2025 A year ago, we decided to shutter UbuWeb. Not really shutter it, per se, but instead to consider it complete. After nearly 30 years, it felt right. But now, with the political changes in America and elsewhere around the world, we have decided to restart our archiving and regrow Ubu. In a moment when our collective memory is being systematically eradicated, archiving reemerges as a strong form of resistance, a way of preserving crucial, subversive, and marginalized forms of expression. We encourage you to do the same. All rivers lead to the same ocean: find your form of resistance, no matter how small, and go hard. It's now or never. Together we can prevent the annihilation of the memory of the world.
What Ubuweb said.
A book cover with a gradient background shifting from green to light blue. The title reads "from Net City World to Cloud Market Sea" in elegant, serif-style red text. The words "from" and "to" are enclosed in small decorative symbols. Abstract pixelated and wave-like patterns in light green and white are scattered around the cover, adding a digital, network-like aesthetic. The publisher's name, "DISTANZ," appears in small white text at the bottom left. The design conveys a modern, tech-inspired theme.
