Only 45 pages into Making Movies first published in 1995, and there's already been a reference to "Free Ukraine" and an anecdote about an actor being blacklisted for supporting the PLO.
The more things change etc
Currently about ten hours into Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and it genuinely does feel like an indy movie.
Right down to the lack of polygons in Indy's face. They've really captured that 80s movie feel.
