Basic concessions Democrats in Congress should demand in any government funding deal:
1️⃣ Keep Border Patrol at the border
2️⃣ Unmask all federal agents
3️⃣ End the federal occupation of Minneapolis and all cities
4️⃣ A moratorium on detaining immigrants without criminal records
These incidents aren’t accidental excesses. They ARE the plan.
It’s a dark & dangerous time for our country. This week my boss issued a report calling for ending DC police coordination w/ICE and strengthening DC laws protecting immigrants. I’m incredibly grateful to work for & with people w/integrity, vision & courage to do something.

I think it comes down to who’s trying to incentivize what. Local govt should encourage transit & discourage cars. A private business wants to incentivize selling its goods. They’ve made a calc that free pkg does that. I suppose the city could tax garages at a higher rate to change the equation?
