Hello everyone.
I am retiring my name from public life and switching to a pen name. I’ve written more on this decision.
If you want my pen name, it’s right here on BlueSky. Just ask.

How do I try out different feeds? I don’t see the option anywhere.
A man presents a picture to another man and says "I drew a picture." The other man looks at the picture and says "hey, that's great." He then tosses it on to a large pile of junk. We zoom out to see the the pile is absolutely mountainous. Incomprehensibly gigantic. It has a big sign on it labelled "Content."

I’ve never heard of anyone discussing the Grateful Dead other than in relation to the bear t-shirts.
Yeah very much likely he’s hiring her to be a scapegoat for the stuff that will make the site meet a bare minimum of usability again and then fire her afterwards to retain the love of the right wing nutjobs.
I still look back very fondly on short form blog for what it’s worth.
you used to be able to make a whole movie based around the idea what if there was a guy who was annoying to be around
What do you like about mastodon? I found it to be a nightmare technologically. Also hated the home owners association vibe of the various servers.
A great thread (cherry picked due to length) on the failings of Hopepunk/Squeecore (and the ghouls it attracts)

Remember in the Brady Bunch movie when the guy tells Mike Brady “you’re designs are…from another time” and I have the same reaction looking at that place. Like gazing at a portal into multiple eras of media ago. Wild that people can still get money for something like that.
If this app ever goes to shit, will everyone post Pink Floyd’s “Goodbye Bluesky” when they leave? 🤔
Is the opposite of Minnie Driver Maxie Pilot?

Hey, look who got featured on B&N's blog.
Yep, that's me. Turns out having great relationships with vendors who aren't Amazon pays off.

The first issue of Tower Mag, which has my glowing review of Marian Engel's BEAR, is available for download. You can name your price (though you should toss 'em a couple bucks for publishing my 1000 word essay about the bear sex book). https://readtower.itch.io/end
This place feels like early dating after a long term relationship. I’m constantly trying to be aware of the things I did wrong the first time and not repeating them.
