So in this game you play at the disgraced vampire princess Ophelia who was exiled from her kingdom by the vampire bourgeoises. Because she's the direct descendant of the Progenitor she has the ability to create and summon Thralls. This is one such Thralls, the Beast.
I don't have a favorite starter btw. not one im obsessed with or anything.

Those are some pretty striking parallels! Iirc the dev team had never played a Pokemon game and were from more traditional JRPG backgrounds so maybe some SMT influence crept in lol

I got the animations for battling set up!
Winning a battle gives you some money and EXP, while losing causes your Sprite to be injured. If it is untreated for too long injured Sprites might die after doing certain activities, but that's for another day.

This one of the first environmental concept art pieces I made for Land of Ur. Cherazeen are basically flying seals :B They soar over the grasslands from the foot hills searching for easy pickings.
