Yeah my BF and I play as Brome and Galandra and those two hate each other for some reason

Is this based on the dialogues within the hub or the ones while out on runs? bc in my experience the stuff they say to each other while out on runs (especially at campsites) is anything but friendly.
It's not really a deal-breaker for me, considering the core gameplay kicks ass and the art is GORGEOUS. The music slaps too. The story is just a little generic and yeah, don't love how the characters are written. Also it's pretty buggy still. But again, I would still recommend it!
it'd be fine if it was like, colleagues being snarky but ultimately friendly, but no, these people legit hate each other ๐
probably a pretty lukewarm take, but Absolum is a pretty great game that would be an absolute banger of a game if the characters weren't all melodramatic bitches who are complete assholes to one another
If you wanna watch something Silent Hill adjacent that's actually good and has those vibes, I'd go with the OG, Jacob's Ladder. I'll also throw in a recommendation for The Ritual, it passes that same vibe check for me.
anyway, this movie was a fucking trip. not a good one, but I was genuinely fascinated by the sheer audacity of some of the choices they made along the way.
I will credit the first movie with being the thing to introduce me to silent hill as a whole back in the day, but it's pretty bad. The monsters looked cool tho. Revelation from 2012 is a complete turd and should be lost to time.
the plot twist at the end is pissing me tf off
with this weird fucking direction they decided on, they should've committed harder and also stuck Eddie's name on there
??????????????????????????????????
man the monster downgrade in this movie compared to the first one is depressing. put a dancer in a suit and tell them to walk funny again, cowards.
Eddie being present the first time Pyramid Head shows up and going "you really did it, didn't you Jimmy, you woke him up" like he's some sort of local boogeyman and not a representation of James' inner torment I'm gonna lose it
I am now (due to repeated examples) operating under the assumption that if I see a cool-looking shot or framing, it's cos they lifted that shit straight from the game
oh my god they're bringing the cult from the first movie back into this. christophe gants when I catch you
what you MEAN this is James Sunderland's car?????
if SH2 James Sunderland had had a therapist, that whole game wouldn't have happened
they rewrote Mary's letter........... I'm not sure I'm strong enough for this
I started watching the new Silent Hill movie for shits and giggles and like less than 10 minutes in I'm like ????????
what do you MEAN James Sunderland is an artist who smokes weed and drives fast cars??? ๐ญ what do you mean JAMES SUNDERLAND has a THERAPIST?????????
what a thinly veiled way to say 'We're spying on you at all times btw :) oh and if your 35 year old ass plays minecraft you'll be sent to the kids table'
ah yes, I "dropped" the comic because it took me two months (in the busiest part of the year) to write and draw 10 full pages of the comic that I do in my spare time ๐คทโโ๏ธ

I knew it!
still not convinced she isn't some sort of bug
I will say, it does have a good deal in common with prometheus, but I found the characters, circumstances and overall aesthetic much more enjoyable than its predecessor. it might just be extremely subjective lol
I watched it right after Prometheus so I had the direct comparison and I just dislike the structure and characters of Prometheus so much that the bar was pretty low for me in terms of expectations - so maybe that influenced my enjoyment to some degree
