Honestly a very childish problem to have, but I had a very childish abuser for a long time.
Higher value has always been placed on paid CC, which has reinforced more expensive and longer early access periods. EA saw a market they could tap and reacted accordingly. Anyways don’t monetize your fun because hustle culture tells you to.
A lot of people seem to be ignoring the fact that this new marketplace is the direct result of the heavy cash flow CC ecosystem the community (both creator and player) has been fostering the past several years.

it sounds silly and minor, but another thing you'll stop seeing if there's more AI in games (in terms of art, writing, etc) is...no easter eggs. no fun little references hidden in a poster. no homages to an earlier game. for me, hiding references is one of the best parts of being a concept artist.
