How we design streets determines what's possible re: our relationship to outdoors, community, & health.
Thanks to @minneapolismn.gov for protected bike lanes on 26th & 28th Streets that made this trip feel safe & therefore a real option. 1/3

Two beavers overseeing a timber metropolis
Pretty sure this is a pro-beaver board. VP Deshpande in particular.
In 30 years the hope is that the city will be all beavers.
It will also need solutions to good faith accessibility concerns. Whether that's more nearby disability parking spots, working with Metro Transit to get new bus lines to drop of at or near parkways, or - like that article mentions - some sort of shuttle program.
It absolutely can be! We took the first step by passing a pilot to look at new methods of pedestrianization and at pedestrianizing more often.
But when the pilot ends we'll need a new resolution making open parkways a reality. That will require a huge amount of public support and engagement!
By sticking together we will outlast and rise above our oppressive federal government.

Other countries do it? Sounds un-American to me!
Clear bus lanes are essential to moving a few hundred thousand people who take buses in Baltimore each day. Transit riders moving through the community in one of the most efficient ways possible deserve a smooth and speedy commute.

This week Demuth and the House GOP blocked bills to:
- Keep ICE out of schools
- Require BCA to investigate federal agent shootings
- Provide emergency rental assistance
They donβt even want to acknowledge the harm Metro Surge has caused Minnesotans.
If you're ever having a bad day, try to take a moment to stop and remember that you aren't Walter Hudson. I find that can make my darkest days significantly brighter.
Like you don't have to be this guy. Could you imagine how miserable that would be? I mean listen to him... Oofta.
Had to make your healthcare unaffordable in order to boost the secret police budget and pay out tax cuts to billionaires.
Bus lane enforcement hell yeah!!!
Edina is everything Mr. Brauer. You just don't see it yet.
Still prefer Berg for this race but Little is doing great work and would be a credit to CD2.
**RETHINKING I94 MEETING** I-94 neighbors: public comments are open and many are requesting a pause in MnDOT's planning timeline because *how can we focus on a highway when we're under siege?* Need context, have questions? Join us, 6:30 p.m. tomorrow (Feb. 18) at the Merriam Park Library.
Three hairs, eh?
There are so many fucked up things with the current administration that it's hard to focus on one but this recent move is basically a death sentence for the planet. I've been involved with more boots on the ground actions over the years than I can count and this really bums me out.
