Yeah, between '88 and '91 I saw pretty much all of my heroes at the time. Siouxsie, Depeche Mode (twice), the Cure, Love and Rockets, Public Enemy, a ton more that I'm forgetting. The best of times then on came acid house and the rest is history.

P.I.L. were also on the bill when I saw them and they were great as well.
They were also an incredible live band. I saw them in '89 opening for New Order and they sounded amazing.
OK everything is fucked but Asha Puthli looking and sounding fabulous with the Gorillaz is a delight...

Every day is napping day in my house.
Fucking NY Times, man. "Defiance" "Unacceptable". Leaving everything else aside it's their fucking country. We attacked them, killed hundreds of civilians, set off an environmental catastrophe, destabilized the entire region & the world and no end in sight. What did we think they were going to do?
Sunset over NYCβ¦
This was a big morning record for us in San Francisco - just seemed to shimmer around the room. Still get goosebumps thinking about it.
Donβt have to listen to the clip I can hear the whole thing in my head. Such a stellar record.
Climate change maybe? It's hard to say. I've been going to MPLS once a year in November for the past 6 years and this last time was the first I didn't have to wear a heavy coat.
Almost t-shirt weather. I went out in a long sleeve light jumper earlier and was fine.
Accurate. Itβs currently 68 degrees (20c) here today and that will continue until Wednesdayβ¦
I've met and chatted with him a few times over the years and he's a lovely and super smart guy as well.
He's also a fantastic DJ and a walking music encyclopedia - one of the best doing it.
Ooooh! This is a new one for me = top stuff, thanks!
Evening, folksβ¦
1970s for sure.
You in another decade
This is a beautiful but heartbreaking article. It's paywalled (sorry) but hopefully some of you can access it.

RAF here as well - played that version to death when I was a resident at Mangiami. Gianfranco the owner and mate loved it and would sing along.
Both tracks on the EP are great.
Ha - Laura Branigan or RAF?
You should check this one as well.

Lovely stuff! That label is run by good mates of mine from Philly.
If you listen closely you can hear the faint snick of Susie Wiles removing the shiv she just gave Kristi Noem.
Ha - don't see Lennon all that often as he's constantly traveling for work but he's still the same as ever.
One of these days we'll get you over here to the NYC Loft - still my favorite party in the world. Just went to the 56th anniversary a few weeks back and it was incredible.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!
Iβve got nothinβ to do today but shine
I mean, what the fuck.
