Meanwhile, my late dad’s car got broken into again. Basically it’s basically worthless now with all the stuff that’s been ripped off of it. Still can’t sell it for junk because of the estate battle.

And it makes me really sad because I was really digging it up until now.
It’s literally a combination of the city gutting my bus routes and work drama. No fault of my own. Just… FML.

Spent the day in Chicago yesterday with friends. We went to the MSI for the Spider-Man exhibition and had some killer ramen.
Given the way my morning has been going so far, I really wish I was back there.

It might be cheesy, but it was the first time in awhile that I felt some proper holiday magic.
Which is great because I’d prayed for a do-over of last Christmas since it was the worst ever. Either way, all kinds of grateful for that moment.
I ran into my 1st grade teacher who was out with her husband for some holiday shenanigans.
She remembered me instantly. I gave her the cliff notes of everything that’s happened since the last time I saw her. She gave me the biggest hug and says she’s proud of me.
Felt like a million bucks.

My scuffed copy of the CR Exclusive Castle of Cagliostro Steelbook
Got my copy of the LUPIN III: THE CASTLE OF CAGLIOSTRO Steelbook from CR. Honestly, super bummed out as it arrived damaged. Worse, it took me 10+ mins to take it out of the slipcover.
At least I have a copy of the movie finally, and the disc itself is stellar. But holy fuck, I'm getting a refund.
I almost lost but thankfully, it was a mash-up/remix so I'm still safe. I'M GONNA MAKE IT THIS YEAR.
And this is why I worry about my livelihoods just about every day.
