All buses in London are meant to be accessible. It would help if the ramp worked. Also, if they didn't stop in the middle of the road.

If you’ve no connection with disabled community here in the U.K., you may not be aware of Euan’s guide. They have a directory of location access information, do access surveys, & post out signs that attach to the emergency cords in disabled toilets to remind people they need to reach the ground.

All Saint's Church Brixworth, Northamptonshire is perhaps the most important survival of Anglo-Saxon architecture north of the Alps. Much of the C7th church remains from the reign of King Wulfhere in the form of a Roman Basilica. The stair turret is C10th. Spire is C14th.

Confronted with the unfamiliar word "mzda" in a meeting, I don't mind admitting that I correctly guessed at a meaning like 'payment' on the basis of words remembered from Ancient Greek and Avestan

They are connected insofar as TfL is the licencing authority for Thames Clippers, and manages some of the piers used by Thames Clippers.

I would say "set" too in UK English. I've never heard "go off" for glue setting. Very strange.

I plan to post at least one of my photos a day here on Bluesky. I design each of my photos using recent research into the benefits to mental health of looking at plants & patterns in nature.
Making my collections relaxes my noisy autistic+ADHD brain & they'll relax yours by looking at them here:
