Playing against the Dr. Who time counters precon. Itβs so so so so tedious
(I really did get emotional listening to it I love pop music so much)
Being a millennial gay guy is driving home getting choked up because The Veronicas released an UNREAL cover of βUntouchedβ a few days ago youtu.be/6Wva3UTUYtM?...
I am very lucky to have a pharmacy and a doctor who know me well and are as flexible as they can be but even then itβs still so nerve wracking to go through the song and dance every month knowing that if something randomly goes sideways I might not have meds I need to function
Itβs wild to me how difficult it is to get ADHD meds (or any controlled substance) that are prescribed to you. Like I understand why there are precautions but I also feel confident that there is a better way to do things
Anthropic's defiance of the Pentagon's A.I. orders was undeniably brave, a welcome contrast with Big Tech's general approach to the Trump admin. but the resistance folks shooting Claude to the top of the app charts need to understand that Anthropic is not very principled, and is not your friend:
Desperately need to play more paper Magic this month. I have barely played at all this year because of work and being sick and it suuuuucks
Iβm so excited to cast that card in EDH!
By some miracle, the god of wonder and surprise has distracted or otherwise bartered with the god of cold efficiency and profit, and--for a little while longer, anyway--this card game opens onto worlds that are more alive than they need to be. Magicβs worldbuilding is, in other words, deeply gratuitous--not in the sense of too much, but in its etymological root: gratis, freely given. If we want to keep savoring this free gift, then we have to make use of it for ourselves--not depend entirely on what Wizards of the Coast does with its worlds. As Lopez remarked to me, the goal of worldbuilding is always βto build something that becomes the property of players,β to βBuild a world whose parts that are seen are parts that thrill, that hook, that pull and invite players to wonder what else exists beyond.β This means making use of gratuitous worlds in our own way--in art and storytelling, role-playing and reflection, forms of engagement that let us participate in these worlds rather than merely observe them. Let this be a humble invitation: do something with your favorite Magic world. Live in it, for a little while. Consider where you might take its story, its characters, the structure of its existence. Accept the gift--and make it your own.
really good quote from the article- applies to anything, not just magic. accept the gift and make it your own.
seems bad
The luck of the syringe is diabolical lol
Oooooh Necrotic Ooze is hot
Timeless witness is a very very good shout!!! Iβm going to work on it and will report back π«‘
I vote Minsc and Boo - it will be a cool memory if you end up keeping the deck!
donβt mean to be legally normie but I think reading these court orders about ICE abuses to Kristi Noemβs face, while recording her empty responses in the Congressional record, is worth doing
β¨β¨β¨
Oh good grief
I love her. The art is some of my favorite in the game, I love how straightforward all of her abilities are, and I miss her being in standard so much π
So I guess after typing all that more so combo than haymakers LMAO
Hereβs the list - obviously would need to make some swaps but EWit and Noxious Revival are already in moxfield.com/decks/96OvTu... 3/3
Right now the goal is bestowing a Springhearth Nantuko onto a Gray Merchant of Asphodel (ideally with Bolasβs Citadel in play) and then play a few lands to dome everyone for damage. Itβs a little convoluted and I want to try and add some redundancy, but I think a gifts package could help 2/3
Sort of both? The deck is in theory a lands deck but instead of traditional landfall things it is more focused on using the accelerated resources and Glarbβs ability to use the top of the library to cast big spells to win the game 1/2
Anybody have any experience building Sultai Gifts Ungiven piles for bracket 3? Glarb needs to be tuned up so that I am not grinding every game into oblivion and I am not ready to give up the Gray Merchant/Springheart Nantuko plan quite yet
Premodern is doing a great job highlighting how Magic collectability vs. playability should work.
This is also a great argument against the reserved list.

Saaaaaaame, those two and Sam Guay are my goats rn
A buncha internet funny people don't owe you takes on every bad world event.
We should make sure our people know we stand on fucking business - I DO think you're a coward trying to remaining neutral when there's children being bombed - but no amount of posting is gonna magically make things BETTER.
That makes sense! What a cool restriction/idea!
I have always found the whole βtoughness mattersβ thing to be sort of boring and one-note (I admittedly have never played a ton with the archetype) and this looks sooooo cool and fun
Noooo omg also of all the sets I would chooseβ¦not those hahahahaha
30 and then probably like at least 12-15 for the second ability, maybe a little less if I am doing +1/+1 counters or buffing them
