Really don't think you know how plugins work if you think forcing a timer, forcing something people have to read doesn't can be bypassed. That's how the previous mare tos even worked and people got upset that they HAD to read.
They will be forced to read if you read the post, it's very easy to implement a way to force users to read or they cannot proceed.

Also venues can use this to direct patrons/staff, syncshells can use this to inform people of rules or talk to them before opening DMs, groups of friends can use this to talk in game without opening Yet Another App.
If you were around during mare, that previously was a request to have by too many users to count and was pushed off due to ui complexities. Beyond that, it's 100% optional and helps address not talking about it directly in game.
The rules come up when somebody opts into the fully optional chat. You are forced to read them before joining.
Just to clear up facts:
- PCP is the easy way
- No Mare fork is endorsed at all
- Mare Dev for very obvious reasons doesn't touch/endorse clones
- Syncs have various QoL but do your own research for what's right or safe for you
- Lightless has previous mare mods
- Lightless is not malicious
World/Race/Gender/Clan is the census that is opt in only, this is from mare and existed for 2+ years.

Nope, you might need a bit more research. It used accid to ensure people were banned and couldn't avoid it with alts. 0 stalking, nothing else, and acci only accessible to the dev FOR bans and NOT stored.

As for making them offline, you can, this menu exists when disconnected under settings > storage > open character data hub. If there's other complains at this point I'm confused why given neither online nor Brio is required for pure MCDFs.
Warning specifically outlines this is for the pose data, and GPose together, not MCDF. Brio is primarily used because Ktisis' dev is MIA.
Brio is not at all required to use MCDF, it's required for MCDO which isn't the same thing. MCDO contains pose data which is loaded from Brio.

There's a lot of ways they could've opted to not trust the client with account ID but, it seems like they wanted the most simple solution, not having to poll a server. It's incredibly dumb.

Most of the people who dev/do support for Mare say to not say it in game or autotranslate. Social issues I've not seen it but that's mostly social ineptitude from those types of folk.
IMO, the culture's driven from FFLogs inspection by PF leads for years prior. Tomestone doesn't help this now.

Don’t mean to be a downer about it but, the response really just is PR speech. It’s more likely if somebody can show it’s feasible given for example. The portrait update is partially due to a plugin that exists with the same functionality figured out before.
