the nolo press people are very serious about helping people do what can be done without a lawyer, and recommending a lawyer when needed. i think their software works everywhere except a few states.

It’s important to look at things you do in your life other than exercises, actively or passively, that might be contributing to the problem.
Thoracic mobilization can sometimes be helpful for shoulder issues.
Imaging is not always helpful: it can show irregularities that are not the source of the pain, and it can also fail to show what’s causing the problem. They can also lead to worse outcomes, because the patient gets scared. (This is probably a rather bad paraphrase. Citation needed.)
If you have some problem areas, doing some mobilization exercises can be useful as a “neuromuscular warmup” before doing a workout.
Tendons heal slowly. And they need progressive loading to heal, as opposed to rest followed by return to regular activity.
