I see it as a welcomed premature death for suffering animals who were slated to be killed soon anyway.
They would be killed anyway since they are being "farmed" for meat. Their lives are lived indoors in cramped conditions with no access to water or grass so yeah, what's the difference?

Here's an idea: STOP EATING EGGS! They are embryos that came from thinking, feeling animals whose entire lives are spent in cramped cages on factory farms which is where 99% of eggs come from. All male chicks born in the egg industry are ground up alive at birth.
