If a PGA Tour event was to use an alternative format - or go to a different format for each of the four rounds what would you want to see? I'd go with:
- Limit to 8 clubs
- Every hole made 250 yards or less
- No caddies
- Blind partner Alt Shot

Consumers rely a lot on the fitter (or sales person) in front of them and when those people are confident in their recommendations, the end golfers benefits.
Even as someone who covers golf equipment, keeping everything straight this time of year can be difficult.
I can only wonder how average golfers absorb information to make buying decisions.

I would love for equipment manufacturers to start announcing the terms of player contracts the way professional sports teams do when they sign players.
I want to debate terms and money, plus if there are incentives built in for winning certain tournaments.
