Even if Rio Ngumoha doesnโt play in the Carabao Cup cup tonight, itโs a positive signal to send to the academy that heโs on the bench. If youโre good enough, youโre old enough. The path is open to the first team.

It also adds a perspective when you see that Gyรถkeres has scored 61 goals in 2024 - but is still trailing Messiโs record (91) by 30 goalsโฆ
There are only 3 players in the 20th century that has scored more goals than Viktor Gyรถkeres in a calendar year: Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski.
That puts what Gyรถkeres has done in 2024 into a whole other perspective.
Amad Diallo is incredible. Singlehandedly turned this derby around for Manchester United.
Tough to lose points against Fulham at Anfield. But itโs very impressive how the team rallied, fought back and saved a point - two times over. Not easy playing with 10 men for 70 minutes.
There are many things you can criticize Paulo Fonseca for as Milan manager. But itโs nice to see his trust in 16 y/o Francesco Camarda, who was subbed on when Milan chased a GWG tonight. Camarda forced Crvena Zvezdaโs goalkeeper to an amazing save - and Abraham sloted home the rebound.
Liverpoolโs players calling Szoboszlai โSvolaziโ and Gravenberch โGravenerโ - like Pep mispronounced them - is a level of pettinness we can all get behind.

West Ham rallying to win against Wolves for Michail Antonio is one of those beautiful sports stories. It wasnโt pretty, but tonight was about Antonio and his teammates broke a two-game losing streak to show up for him.
Cole Palmer has been sublime this season. But he has not been better than Mohamed Salah. Not only has he scored two more goals and provided two more assists in one less game, but the underlying stats are there to back it up as well.
Donโt understand the hate towards Arsenal and corners. I get that itโs not entertaining. But corners are part of the game - and theyโve trained theirs and has become incredibly efficiant at them. The focus is to score in every way possible to win points, not how you score.
Dan Ashworth left a successful job at Newcastle, spent four months on gardening leave to join Manchester United, only to leave after five months. Thatโs crazy. It feels like that only can happen at Manchester United, or Chelsea, in England.
The Haaland of TheOther14?
๐ค Wouldnโt mind Spurs getting a W as well!
Je suis Fulham
Alexander-Arnold's performance: Wow.
2 assists, 3 chances created, 1 big chance created. Unlocked the Newcastle defense with line-breaking passes from central spaces and was a threat from the half-spaces. Found ways to get in behind Newcastle's defensive line. Incredible!
Watched highlights from Manchester United-Everton. Granted it was a small sample size, but Amad Diallo is a very impressive presser. Small, but makes up for it with intensity and persistence. van Nistelrooy and Amorim seem to succeed in refining the talent he showed at Atalanta.
Oh 100 percent mate! I love it and support the message haha๐
Liverpool included van Dijk and Salah's digs at Jamie Carragher in the "Inside Anfield" footage. The entire club took Carragher's criticism of Salah personally.
My algorithm only gave me stupid posts from Elon and stuff in languages I couldn't understand
This platform is so superior to X it's ridiculous. My entire timeline on X is plastered with adds and sponsored posts in languages I don't even understand remotely. And that's not even mentioning the bots, spam and other stuff on there.
Praying for it๐
Likewise mate!๐
Hey, I just saw this. I don't remember doing it, but back in the day I cared way too much about ratios and stuff instead of actually appreciating having good people on my tl to talk to. Got lost in non-important shit. I'm very sorry for that, Lee. It was idiotic and uncalled for.
Thanks for the kind words Kevin! Glad I found you on here and we were able to connect. Can only say the same, saw your post on the Quansah/Trent sub for example and thought it was spot on
An incredibly impressive win by Liverpool in general. But the defensive effort in second half was particularly impressive; 1v1 defending, synched and efficient structure, regained loose balls, cover for teammates, mentally switched on at all times
Tijjani Reijnders has added goals to the incredible creativity and ball retention + progression he shone with last season. A result of an increased quantity of box crashing actions and improved timing on his runs. One of Europeโs most entertaining players.
I'm a big admirer as well. He, his staff and the sporting management has revamped Liverpool's academy. It was not producing players near this level only ten years ago.
Completely agree with what you're saying. Another important factor is the accuracy in finding good loan destinations for talents
Oh absolutely mate. It's been a targeted effort with more active recruitment for the top talents in the UK especially, but also in the rest of Europe. Then Alex and the staff has done an excellent job in developing and refining
