I've been lectured by one of the ivermectin true believers about how i can keep my breast cancer from recurring by taking this stuff. This, in the middle of an actual hospital, which provides the care that has kept me alive.

Feb 28. A song from 1985. This Could Be The Night by Loverboy. Takes me back to driving around in an orange Volkswagen Beetle, listening to mixed tapes, made by caring friends, on a cheap cassette deck and crappy speakers...lol. #DavidsMonthOfMusic www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qa2...

I am not very familiar with current immigration stuff, but there are experts in those "infusion" groups that might know about any health related information.
Yes, there's a difference in titles between the two countries. To become a technologist, a Canadian would usually attend a technical college such as BCIT for 3 years. Many already have a 4 year degree but it isn't a prereq. The term technician isn't really used in Canada.
Until Nov 2027, it will be easier to get working as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in BC. After that we will be regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons. All other provinces in Canada are already regulated.
There's help from Canadian peers and experts available. Tod Maffin has come up with a model for "Canadian Infusion" chapters in many cities. The Nanaimo Infusion has been active the longest. www.timescolonist.com/local-news/m...

Feb 25. A song from 2015. Sweet Irony, by Whitehorse. #DavidsMonthOfMusic We live in times that are quite ironic, but not always in a sweet way. My dad passed away in the 1990s. He was an immigrant to Canada from Germany and he became the most devoted hockey fan. From our local juniors to the NHL, he watched it all, live and on CBC. I always wish he had lived longer for so many reasons... he would have loved to see how the pro women play.

I am no fan of former BC Premier Christy Clark, but she was right about this in 2012 when she pointed out that govt healthcare funding needs to consider that aging populations use more healthcare. Conversely those who move to AB are generally on the younger side. globalnews.ca/news/199954/...

Currently on a BC ski trip. Every year, this type of road trip is our big vacay. In past years, we skied in WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, CO and UT. We spent lots of $$ there and had a great time. I can't see going back to the USA anytime soon. Maybe never.
Medical labs are also still dependent on fax machines. I won't cooperate with the imposition of AI slop until there's at least an equal effort to retire the fax machines.
I agree... also thinking it won't take a couple of decades. I'm thinking 3-6 years. It's very scary, even for those of us who don't live in the USA.
