If you ever have the opportunity to hang out with Richard Campbell, do it. He is the most interesting man in the world.

What could have possibly triggered Trump?
Was it winning a Nobel Peace prize?
Was it his wife doing a successful and award winning documentary?
Was it restoring US credibility with NATO?
Or was it overseeing a peaceful transfer of power after his term ended
Oh wait, that was Obama...

The transcript of the MN hearing where an AUSA said βThis job sucksβ is remarkable for more reasons than that. Itβs a searing portrait of a crisis perpetrated by depraved & oblivious high-level officials. Read it all. ...

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeareβs Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff.
Democracy dies in oligarchy.
Early in his career, William Randolph Hearst famously joked that if his papers kept losing $1 million a year, he'd lose all his money in 60 years. If the Post continues to lose $100 million a year, it will take Jeff Bezos 2000 years to lose his money.
This is real, and itβs located near Teslaβs flagship London store in Tottenham.
Just cancelled my subscription to the @washingtonpost.com. Democracy may die in the darkness, but journalism dies when you continue to layoff reporters. I was on the bubble for not renewing when Bezos spiked the paper's endorsement of Harris; this week was the final straw.
Save the prayers. You were balls-deep in someone elseβs wife while your own was pregnant. Jesus ainβt your PR team.

This is the "You got your peanut butter on my chocolate!" moment for getting an EV network in this country is not controlled by a ketamine-addled narcissist.
It's always the same cycle.
I have been so excited since I found out this would be announced today! RIP any ability for me to concentrate: www.apple.com/tv-pr/news/2...
I loved that though exercise. Add in 5-7 years if they need to build any factories.
Unless Trump annexes Taiwan as the 53rd state, there's no way of getting past the tariffs on silicon parts. I'm guess that Beijing would be somewhat less than OK with that happening.

βMr. Musk, weβve got good news and bad news. The good news is that Google searches for βnearest Tesla showroomβ are at an all-time high.β
This is not the first problem we have had with Enterprise in the last week. Did they suddenly run out of cars?
I think I'm done with being a customer for Enterprise. I needed a one-way rental (2 hour drive) to an airport. After calling and booking over the phone I booked my flight and then looked at the email. He swapped the start and destination locations. I called back, no cars are available.
Wow: JD Vance is apparently skiing in Vermont this weekend and the locals arenβt having it. Thousands have lined the streets in protest.
Dear Manager,
1. I drank a whiskey drink.
2. I drank a vodka drink.
3. I drank a lager drink.
4. I drank a cider drink.
5. I sang the songs that remind me of the good times; I sang the songs that remind me of the better times.
I'm on the fence about cancelling my subscription. What Bezos did is horrible, but I don't read the WaPo for the opinions, I read it for the articles. Same as for the NY Times.
If youβre ever in public while high on ketamine, this DEA pamphlet suggests you might want want to wear sunglasses, even indoors.

I live in the US and I don't want to fly for the Summit thanks to the White House firing FAA staff.
