Seriously America, tax the rich, especially the corporate raiders and hedge funds and tech bros and you CAN afford to have it all and pay for it and maybe even pay off the old debt.

Break up a few of the corporate monopolies and you might even get lower prices.

This is part of the problem too…the constant tax cuts for US Billionaires and tech oligarchs has reduced revenue so severely that Americans think they can’t afford healthcare & defence & roads/education. (eg. The IRS is allowing tech co payroll to be designated as capital expenditures and amortized)

This is why Conservatives are stupid, because the greatest trade and economic advantage we have is our health care system, and our education system.
We invest in preventive care and education (which includes job training) and it’s an incredible benefit.

I think he has too many balls he is trying to juggle and not enough trusted people in Cabinet or staff to do it all.

Targeting desalination plants is an incredible double edged sword. Iran is extremely vulnerable, but so are the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council. If pushed to the brink, Iran could easily depopulate much of the region. Iran already struck Israel’s largest desalination plant three days ago.
