I drove my father's '72 Citroen DS for a few months until the suspension started to go, but I never owned it. It was rather idiosyncratic, with a very tall clutch and a mushroom for a brake pedal.

Ummm, is anyone going to tell him that I 1979 it was a different Ayatollah? Or do they all look alike to Mullen?

I should have read the fine print first. Sorry to be redundant.

Didn't the department of war morph into the department of the army, and the department of the air force was created, and the department of defense was created over them, and the existing department of the navy.

I love that.

K-6 elementary school
7-9 junior high school
10-12 high school.

But some towns around were doing a four year high school. But this was back when the earth was young and rocks were soft.

I love eating mandarin oranges, more than smelling like one. They are just the right amount of fruit to not screw my system up.

Any gardeners out there who have found a reasonable replacement for peat pots for seed starting? The two that I have found so far (coconut coir and composted cow manure) are kind of pricey.

This may be more personal information than I have shared before on the intertubes.

Being Jewish it had the feeling of a pilgrimage. This was before the U.S Holocaust museum existed. While there is a chance that some distant relative was killed in the Holocaust, no one ever admitted to family left behind in Austria, or Russia. But cultural history could no be ignored.

I stopped at Dachau when I was young. Seeing the exhibits there, and reading about it in the place where it happened affected me more than any reading about the camps ever could.

A down comforter in a percale cover. If you have a thing against naked water fowl, I suspect synthetics would work well. My current comforter is about 10 years old, and survived an oversized pit bull. Mind you I swap it out for a light weight blanket in summer.

Mythbusters proved this concept a while back. Insurance said that on air talent couldn't be launched off the back of the truck, they had to be satisfied with soccer balls.

You are moving out here without a job lined up? Do you have a specialty or profession?

Sort of. I was obese, eating poorly and working startup hours in the year prior to diagnosis. But it basically became noticeable over the course of a month prior to Thanksgiving of '98. Needless to say I hadn't been to a doctor for several years prior.

You mentioned it was messy. I was guessing the cabbage leaves cracked and leaked. On the other hand I can make a mess of any kind of roll up food.
