Actually, the best method is to copy from a cloud folder on the computer and then paste into a folder in the external drive. Meta data intact!
Lesson learned: if you don’t like data centers, you should stop using so much cloud storage.
The editor digging out the car
Cozy day yesterday trying to figure out how to get 30,000 images off my phone and onto a hard drive (not a cloud service) without losing the image's original date and metadata. I don't think it can be done! All suggestions considered. Thank you!

In 2024, I began approaching geometric abstraction from a position of vulnerability and started working with water-based media, soaking raw canvas with paint in irregularly shaped geometries that suggest dissolution.The process also reminds me of how we absorb experience into memory.
I’ve got work in a show at McBride Dillman at 195 Henry St NYC through March 1. This one is “Neptune Park” 2025, acrylic watercolor, pencil, on raw canvas, 29 X 36 inches.
