Useful article - walks you through turning off new default Gemini settings for Gmail, Chrome, Android, etc.
Portrait of the bumble from Rudolph withโฆ erโฆ *jelly* all over its face.
Happy holidays from our family to yourses!
Will your books be available through Lunar distribution as well? That is where I pre-ordered all of your previous releases before Diamond's collapse.
If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.
Illustration of a paper bag with a list of union-made candy written on it and the title "Union-made in America." List can be found at aflcio.org/halloween.
Ready for trick-or-treaters tomorrow? Make sure to buy union-made candy when youโre doing your shopping! And check out the full list at aflcio.org/halloween.

What happened to me: I pre-ordered before FOC when the pre-orders were still routed through Diamond. Your publisher was not going to actually send Drome to Diamond after bankruptcy for distribution for obvious reasons. I got my copy from Barnes & Noble. It's available through book distributors.
I'm interested in a collection, too!
Do you know which book cover this was painted for? I'd love to find out.

Screenshot from a Tumblr post by ralfmaximus: Mozilla, in its finite wisdom, embedded LLM bots into recent versions of Firefox for the vitally-important purpose ofโฆ naming tab groups. Now, some users are noticing CPU and power usage spikes caused by a background process called Inference. Ugh. Reminder again for Firefox users to visit your about:config page, search for the browser.ml.chat.enabled key, and set that to false: If yours says true then double-click it until it reads false. Doing that turns off the AI chatbot features in Firefox, but also the stupid new LLM tab-naming feature that's rolling out
Hey Firefox users.
The Appendix N Book Club patron discussion of Howard Andrew Jones's The Desert of Souls is available today. appendixnbookclub.com/2025/08/25/h...
The time period on the cover spans the McCarthy era through the Nixon presidency to the end of the Reagan era. So should have much relevant to today's politics.
Great News! Looking forward to this magazine.
