Fine fine ;) The Hobbit then is my answer. Pern is a great place to visit also.
I know it's not quite what you are looking for... But The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. There is a dragon....
I have reread the original trilogy and the heritage series multiple times. So I am embarking on the couple those next couple of series in the world. But will make it back to the originals. I actually started with Wishsong out of all of them. Random choice from a middle school library.
Robert Jordan may be my pinnacle with #wheeloftime, but where I discovered fantasy was when I found #Shannara and Terry Brooks. Its a different approach to writing but it is what I need right now. Finished 5th reread of #WoT so bring on the Sword, Elfstones and Wishsong, and all the rest.
Prove that youβre really you in three words or less #WoTSkies
Tacos.
Someone rolled out a load of squishy stress ball farm animals in staff meeting. There was one sheep. I prevailed. I got the sheep. I pick my battles based on if it is related to #wheeloftime, seems the right life choice. #woolheadedsheepherder #wotskies
