That's greatbut...1) much stronger, faster action is needed to regulate the spread of SUVs in London, 2) the only acceptable leavel of injuries and death on our roads is zero, so the work is not done yet!

Really glad to have been invited to this TfL roundtable about transport in Camden
Great to hear whatβs working well and have an open conversation about what could be better.
Our two main priorities are still the same: more action on school-run traffic and an improved service on the 603 bus!
Given how many schools are nearby, any change that makes it safer to walk and cycle, and reduces air and noise pollution, is a positive step in our view. If youβd like to share your views, go to:

Some of the elements we particularly welcome are:
- Raised and continuous crossings: making it easier and safer to cross, especially for children
- Wider pavements: encouraging walking by making it safer and more comfortable
- More greenery: improving the street and helping climate resilience
@camdencouncil.bsky.social is consulting until Sunday 15 February on proposed changes to the Eton Avenue area.
Weβve submitted a response in support of the scheme, which we believe would make the area safer, healthier and more pleasant. Not just for pedestrians and cyclists, but for all road users.
This is a fantastic video that helps boost confidence for anyone cycling with children! π π²
We rightly worry about our childrenβs mental health, but sometimes forget that small, everyday choices, like walking or cycling to school, can make a big difference, and are easy to build into daily life. π
Applications are now open for the second year of Phase 4 of the @camdencouncil.bsky.social Camden Climate Fund, which provides funding to help reduce emissions from our households, businesses and community spaces.

With bonnet heights over 1m, young children can be completely invisible in front of them. We need stricter rules and a more honest conversation about the risks they pose.
