Maybe statistically, but I loathe the Nets and always have.
I cannot think of anything more embarrassing than losing to the Nets
There are plenty of places online you can mail in film, but def research it. I donβt have any experience with them.
Thank you!

After some encouragement from @ianferguson.bsky.social I think I'm going to get back into film photography.
A local place called Camera Exposure. They develop and do a 3025x2005 scan for 15 bucks a roll
Oh my god that cake sounds amazing
Nice! I love it. I definitely do not have any of my negatives from high school. I wish I did! I donβt recall liking anything, though.
Noooo
I meant my photos from negative, I rarely digitize or edit my instaxes because the scans never look great! Any tips?
Those are awesome, donβt replace it. Theyβre the high school photography class special. Tanks.
If you decide youβre having fun, look into a repair and Clean, Lubricate, Adjust service. Out here that would be about 100 and youβd have a classic, reliable camera ready to go for another two decades.
Get a roll of Kentmere Pan 200. Itβs cheap and fun to shoot.
Get an app light meter, Iβm not sure whatβs out there but fuck around with a free or cheap one, shoot a roll on your Pentax, develop it, and if you say
βOh shit this is funβ
Buy a physical one or look into replacing your camera.
Is it a K1000?
You could always get a simple light meter for the shoe! You read the output and adjust your aperture and shutter speed. There are phone app ones, too!
Iβve resisted the urge to edit any of them. They are what they are
Thatβs why I love it as well! My mini99 is 100% responsible for my renewed interest in photography. It is the only, imperfect one of the moment.
Itβs similar to why I love the Demi EE17. Lower quality photos, twice the amount, simply snap and not worry about it. Vibes machine. You move on.
Right! Iβm conjuring up half-baked ideas at a rapid pace!
Thought it was a pizza cake at first. My brain was tumbling.
Photography has gotten me outside more than anything Iβve done in decades.
I think what Iβm enjoying most about photography is the effort. Not just practice and experience and learning from mistakes, but that I have to go out and work for a photo. I can crochet on the couch. I can paint minis on the couch. I cook in a small kitchen close to the couch.
Thank you!
Thank you!
I hated all of these shots this morning. Now I really like them. Amazing what a cup of coffee can do.
