That’s fair! I generally agree with that criterion. I wouldn’t say it’s a disqualifying one. Prior to Elizabeth Warren running for Senate she had never held local office either. But she had done the work of forming the CFPD, was a professor, etc. so demonstrated she understood how govt works.
