This paper argues that misinformation research needs to move beyond studies of a few wealthy countries and online samples to include diverse, real-world information environments worldwide in order to produce more accurate and effective insights. I agree!

A week ago, we had an open conversation amongst senior academics in leadership roles and their use of LLMs (in both their leadership capacities and individually). Small group, not representative, but it already taught me a great deal about the diversity of perspectives (& their consequences). 1/

There has been a remarkable radicalisation of *elite* political and media discourse on mass deportations and remigration.
This is based on an elite perception (+ misperception) of what the public want.
Media and political elites have not spotted how skewed their perception of what the public is

There are so many horrifying details to this story of ICE locking up a British grandmother for 2 months who was visiting the US legally as a tourist.
Among them is the fact that the 🇬🇧embassy refused to help her. That's been a consistent theme to these stories of European tourists getting detained.
#Parcoursup2026 #HelloESR
Still, Mr. Trump repeatedly stressed on Friday that he was not deterred, and at times, he sought to reframe elements of his defeat as a victory. “While I am sure they did not mean to do so, the Supreme Court’s decision made a president’s ability to regulate trade and impose tariffs more powerful, and more crystal clear, rather than less,” Mr. Trump claimed to reporters.
I think the court's conservatives knew exactly what they were doing. They were creating the appearance of judicial independence while leaving Trump an enormous loophole through which he can continue to do what he wants.

My opening editorial as Editor-in-Chief of Creator and Influencer Studies is now live. In this piece, I reflect on how creator and influencer studies has been a discipline for a while, and how journals risk siloing as much as they do creating an umbrella.

D'ailleurs, une question classiquement mise dans ce type d'enquête consiste à demander aux répondants de définir ce qu'est la science en texte libre. Très intéressant pour montrer les différentes définitions et traçage de frontiere entre science/hors science!
